This must be the second or third time we espied the marsupials leaping into the path of traffic again.
It is always just on dusk when the bunch come out for food and water, so it can be quite disastrous if we happen to drive fast!

One big hit might send my poor old beetle flying off the road (don't forget we were in it too!)
Luckily we were travelling slow... or else......
你们那边果然到处都可以看到动物!还好驾驶慢~
ReplyDeleteUsed to stay in Aussie for a year in Uni, and I missed seeing wildlife crossing roads (ok, i know it's hazardous too!). We see quite a lot of wallabies and rabbits last time. In Malaysia we only hv stray dogs and cats.
ReplyDeletewe have blue tongue lizards frolicking in our garden. Apparently this year there is a rise in sightings of brown snakes. not to mention the possums, noisy koala, but no wallabies and kangas at the moment...
ReplyDeleteblue tongue lizards? geez... that's exotic!
