Lavish Breakfast

Australian has a saying: Pinch and punch, first day of the month!
October comes by in blink of an eye. It has been 5 months since we left Hong Kong.

When we were there, we spent two precious nights at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central. It was Alex's brilliant idea to stay there or otherwise we would be missing out on such unforgettable experiences at its two star Michelin restaurant, Amber.

Check out the spectacular interior. The designer sure has a fine taste.
In fact, we are contemplating to have our wedding reception here.

As the returning guests to the hotel, we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a suite room and an invitation to enjoy breakfast at Amber every morning.
So this is one of our most lavish breakfasts ever.
You will see why.

Restaurant staff are very well trained in food and wine menus.
Restaurant ambience is soothing and relaxing.
Restaurant cuisine is fine and renowned to the world.

Check out our enormous breakfast order.

The food was great and deserves its excellent reputation.
Particularly the blueberry muffin. It was all filled with freshly pureed blueberries neither doughy or floury.

All condiments, jams and marmalades are imported from France.
Salmon and truffle served at breakfast sure is a luxury treat.
The attention to details and quality of ingredients are key success to its excellence.

I would like to eat like this for as long as I can...
